Steve and Liz offer a warm welcome to our guests at Farfields Farm Bed & Breakfast. Farfields Farm is a working farm within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, overlooking the beautiful Newton Dale Valley. Parts of The Farmhouse date back to the 1670’s and is surrounded by 225 acres of grazing and arable land. Three generations of the Stead family have farmed here since 1949.
We have a herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle providing top quality beef to Waitrose supermarkets.
The valley just below the farm provides spectacular views of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR). There are some lovely circular walks from the farm.
Farfields Farm is in a central position for exploring the Moors, Whitby, Heritage coast and the historical city of York. You can enjoy biking and walking in Dalby Forest which is only 1 mile away.
Bike washing and storage facilities are available. Horses welcome, we are on the Newton dale horse trail and have a turnout paddock available. Please ask us for more details.
The accommodation comprises of 4 superb ground floor annexes in a beautiful converted character barn opposite the farmhouse.
The Fox & Rabbit Inn serve excellent meals and is a short stroll from the Farm.
